Boccherini, Luigi

Luigi Boccherini(1743-1805), Italian composer and cellist, studied cello privately in Luca and Rome, toured as cellist, served at the Viennese Imperial Court theater and the court of Frederick William Prussia in Berlin. He composed 11 cello concertos, over 150 string music(trios, quartets, quintets... etc), 29 symphonies, and sacred music.
