Braille, Louis

Louis Braille(1809-1852), French blind organist and inventor of the Braille system of reading for the blind. Braille, a bright and creative student, became a talented cellist and organist in his time at the school. For some years he was the organist at the Paris Church of Saint Vincent-de-Paul and of Nicolas-des-Champs.
