Bull, Ole

Ole(Bornemann) Bull(1810-1880), Norwegian composer and violinist. At very young age, he played violin in the orchestra of Bergen's theater, joined the Musical Lyceum, a musical society, later he became the director of the Lyceum. He went to Germany and Paris, was eventually successful in becoming a high-level virtuoso. He composed 70 works, but only 10 of them are popular today.
