Busoni, Ferruccio

Ferruccio Benvenuto Busoni(1886-1924), Italian composer, pianist and writer on music, studied at the Accademia filamonica in Bologna, he moved to Berlin but stayed various places in Europe, pursuing his career as a virtuoso pianist and teaching, he was director of Liceo musicale in Bologna, but later settled in Berlin for the rest his life. He composed 5 operas, arrangements and transcriptions of other composers' pieces.
